Pall Rings are among the most commonly used tower packing materials forapplications involving gas and liquid separation.Because of their ability to withstandcorrosive environments, they’re a mainstay in chemical process towers.
Pall rings are widely known as an innovation coming from Raschig Ring that can be used in various applications, mainly involves gas and liquid transfers. Its walls is intentionally designed to be open geometrically to enable lower pressure drop with greater capacity than on Raschig ring design which is just a standard cylindrical ring.
