Description of Demister Pad

 

 

Demister can be made of various materials, depending on its use, and its major materials are as per the below:
1. SUS304, 304L, SUS316, 316L, MONEL,Titanium,Nickel,etc.
2. P.P (POLY PROPYLENE), P.E (POLY ETHYLENE),

3.Fixing Methods & GRID

The demister should be horizontally fixed and supported. At the bottom or both the top and the bottom, a support grid which is welded with Flat Bar 3tX25mm, 6Ø or 8mm wire.

Mist Eliminators are designed to remove contaminants from process air emissions that evolve as mist droplets. We manufactures Demister pads in several materials like stainless steel 304, 316, polypropylene, ptfe and other features depending upon model and includeframes, metal grids etc.
These are used in pulp and paper, waste and water treatment, oil and gas, biofuel, geothermal power and other general industrial use.

 

Product Feature of Demister Pad

  • Demisters consist of a collection of meshes of woven threads that form a dense body designed to separate liquids in the form of small particles contained in steams and gases.
  • They prevent emission of waste contaminants such as sulphur compounds, salt water, sand, hydrocarbons, etc. into protected interior spaces or out into the atmosphere.
  • Designs are customised to the specifications of the fluids being processed. They remove 99.9% of liquid content in gas.
  • When gas is passed through the demister, existing liquid particles in the gas hit the demister threads, build up due to molecular attraction, increase in size until they detach due to gravity and flow toward the drain.
  • Wide range of work conditions in separation of liquid contaminants (including solids and associated gases in the flow of gas being processed: very fine sand, hydrocarbons, etc).
  • High efficiency through various configurations and equipment with various stages.
  • Flexible design conditions: Minimal pressure loss allowing for high gas speeds.
  • Integrated purge or drainage systems.
  • Various materials.
  • Demisters are basic pieces of equipment in desulphurisation plants, for incineration, combustion gas treatment, mould, odour, bacteria, and corrosion removal due to condensation, etc.

Application of Demister Pad

 

Wire mesh demister comprises of wire mesh,wire mesh block of wire mesh grill and support device fixing mesh bliock.
Demister,generally set on top separation column,used for separating the gas entrained droplets in the column to ensure mass transfer efficiency,
reduce the loss of valuable materials and improve the operation of the compressor after the separation.It can effectively remove droplet beteen 3—5μm.
usage:Petroleum, chemical, light industry, medicine, metallurgy, aerospace, ship, environmental protection engineering distillation, evaporation, absorption and other processes in the gas-liquid separation, gas separation, mechanical equipment, oil and gas separation.
