Description of Structured Packing
SS304 metallic structured packing is a core tower internal component designed for gas-liquid mass transfer and separation processes. It is manufactured by stamping thin 304 stainless steel sheets into corrugated plates, some with micro perforations to improve liquid spreading. Corrugated panels are arranged at fixed inclined angles and assembled into integral packing modules. Each layer is installed crosswise inside the gas-liquid separation tower, forming regular, directional flow channels for upward gas and downward liquid.
When fluids pass through the packing, liquid evenly adheres to the metal surface to form a thin liquid film, maximizing gas-liquid contact area. This structure effectively avoids channel flow and liquid maldistribution, significantly improving separation precision. Featuring stable mechanical performance and excellent oxidation resistance, SS304 material works reliably under medium temperature and weak corrosive environments, delivering long service life compared with random packing.
